Yes – taking the problem statement through each phase (Kanban-style) until it's validated. Once you have a validated solution it graduates to the product backlog to be further refined, user stories are written, and it gets delivered to production. It's helpful when you can have a designer focused on the opportunity backlog/concept work and another handling the detailed/production design in the product backlog
