One of my first jobs was at a small, family-owned Mexican restaurant in Colorado. I was a busboy but sometimes when it got busy or we were shorthanded, I’d wash dishes, help prepare food, and seat guests at their table. Although many of us pitched in at the restaurant as needed, and I wore many hats, I was still a busboy.
